My heart was so big and full watching my students perform together on stage. The music was beautiful. All of our hard work and efforts paid off just in time for the show. I was so pleased with everything. Then I got into my car and drove home to an empty house. Back the still quiet that I call a life. Anxiety embraced me once more as I devoured the Publix chicken. It was not long before I sank into a long luxurious candle lit bath that swept my cares away.
Life can be too long to face alone. There is no one at your side to endure the trials and tribulations or to enjoy the celebrations. Triumphant and solo. Party of one. You go out for one mocktail. I would like to date in 2026. The sunset on 2025 is on the horizon, and I agree that it is time to wrap it up.
